Lemon-Fest Benefit for Haiti Relief

St. Margaret's Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano will host LEMON-FEST, a community festival and student concert this Saturday, March 13, to raise money for Haiti earthquake relief. The festival will be held 3 — 5 p.m., and student concert, 5 — 7 p.m. Admission to the concert is $5 for students and $10 for adults. All proceeds will go to Episcopal Relief & Development (www.er-d.org) to aid Haiti.

Festival booths will include:
  • The Discovery Science Center
  • The Billabong Truck
  • The Bruce Lee Foundation
  • Tom’s Shoes “Style Your Sole”
  • Surfrider
  • Surfaid
  • Z Pizza
  • Subway
  • Jamba Juice
  • Hotdog on a Stick
  • Bake sale hosted by the St. Margaret’s Middle School
  • Exotic Car Show. Visitors vote for their favorite.

Additionally, raffles will be held for prizes such as Ducks tickets and Wild Rivers season passes.

Benefit Concert:

The student-produced Lemon-Fest benefit concert will begin at 5 p.m. with a riveting presentation by the Discovery Science Center on the Science of Earthquakes, including footage of the Haiti earthquake. Student performers from all divisions of the school will perform instrumental, vocal and dance acts.Led by our Tartan Spirit Squad Emcees, special segments and student-produced films about the ongoing needs in Haiti will transition the performances.

Concert Admission: $5 for students. $10 for adults.

Parking:

The Pasternack Field House Parking Lot will be CLOSED for this event. The following Parking Lots will be available: Gateway Building, Preschool, Highland Hall and the Ortega Business Center. Please do not park directly in front of Ortega Center businesses during this event, but rather in one of the SMES marked parking areas adjacent to Ortega Highway.
