Annual Fund 2007-2008
The 2007-2008 Annual Fund kicks off on October 1, 2008 with an ambitious goal of $1,200,000. Under the leadership of 2007-2008 Annual Fund Co-Chairs Lia and Jim Kieckhafer, parents of Alexis '19 and Will '20.
Exciting News!
A small group of anonymous donors has challenged SMES parents to participate. Our donors will give $3,000 for every class that has 100% participation in cash and pledges by December 31, 2007. Your gift in any amount could be the one that brings your grade to 100% and earns $3,000 more!
NEW for 2007-2008 is the Annual Fund timeframe. The active solicitation will begin on October 1, 2007 and end on December 31, 2007.
YES, SMES is asking that all gifts and pledges be made on or before December 31, 2007.
HOWEVER, pledges made by December 31, 2007 may be paid at any time through
May 31, 2008 and may be paid all at once or in increments by check or credit card.
Why the Change?
Shortening the Annual Fund time frame benefits everyone as we:
- Save over $5,000 by eliminating three extra "reminder" mailings
- "Think Green" by using several thousand fewer pieces of paper
- Reduce YOUR stress and help you STAY ORGANIZED!
- When you give or PLEDGE right away, you won't be asked again until next year!
